Contests
While most writers are used to the idea that entering a piece in a contest requires an
entry fee, we at Four Branches Press dislike the practice. It is our honor to give small
rewards for the best poetry and fiction we receive during a submission period.
While the amount of the prize will vary from issue to issue, a prize in the range of
$100-$200 for best of submissions will be awarded each issue, and the names of the
winners will be publicly announced.
The only limitation we're placing is that once a writer wins a best of submissions prize, he
or she may (and hopefully will!) submit work for future issues, but will not be eligible for
prize money for 3 years.
